My First Rugby Game

Hello!

I have officially completed my classes at the University of Limerick!

Last week was our last week of classes, this week is reading week and then we have two weeks of finals after that. I actually only have on final on May 9th. Instead of exams, the rest of my classes had final projects and papers, all due today! So, I only have on class to worry about for the next couple weeks!

This weekend, amidst my final grind to get the three papers due to today done, I went to my first rugby game! It was Munster (where Limerick is) against Ulster. Munster won 41 to 14!

I also just so happened to be recording when they got their first points!

It was pretty fun, although I think it may have been a bit more entertaining if I actually knew what was going on πŸ™‚

It was gorgeous weather to sit outside and enjoy the game though! In fact, this entire week has been gorgeous. Zero rain 😱 just sun and a nice breeze. Everything is starting to blossom around campus too! I thought it was pretty before, but now it is even prettier!

Also, this weekend at the milk market, the lady at the fudge stand gave us free hot chocolate because we are regulars! Crazy to think I could be a regular at a place in Ireland, but here we are. It also made me sad that after next month I just won’t be back for a long time πŸ™

Anyways, hope spring is starting to blossom where you are too!

So glad you’re finally getting some nice weather and sunshine β˜€οΈ! My first Rugby game was in Cape Town, South Africa! It’s a wild sport (I also had no idea what was going on). The energy for the crowds was amazing though. I love that you are getting a wealth of different experiences while in Ireland!!
