I arrived in Ireland at 7:30 Thursday morning! We were stuck sitting in the airport for quite some time because our bus to campus didn’t leave until 10:30am. So, a couple girls and I got coffee and pastries to pass the time —<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

making a chocolate croissant and iced latte my first meal in Ireland! We then had a two hour bus ride to campus. We stopped once at the “Obama Plaza” which included a museum dedicated to Obama. We thought it was hilarious that was the first place we went in Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we arrived, we were given our room assignments and about fifteen minutes to drop off our luggage before heading to a shopping mall. We were all a bit frazzled at that point — trying to figure out what you need to buy before even opening your suitcase is a bit challenging.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Afterwards, we had a nice dinner at a nearby pub, took a cold shower (apparently we only get warm water from 6:30am-8:30am and 4:30pm-6:30pm, which we didn’t know at that point \ud83d\ude41 ), unpacked, and crashed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, we had orientation from 8:30am-2:15pm. A bit boring, but at least my bus pass is on its way! Then, a group of us walked to the nearest grocery store and had to take the bus back with all of our bags.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Here are pictures of my room! I am living with 5 other girls from UST!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am liking it a lot here! It’s beautiful and so far not too rainy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
