Hello!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This weekend, we had a class trip to Dingle on Saturday and Ava and I went to Cork on Sunday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Dingle, we first went on an archeological tour. The coolest part was this dry stone building that is the only building built without mortar still standing in Ireland.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Then, we went to the Beehive Huts where we got to hold baby sheep and see an amazing view of the Skellig Islands! I unfortunately did not get to hold a baby sheep because they were in a tiny enclosed space full of hay and I didn’t have Benadryl on me if I were to have an allergic reaction to the hay \ud83d\ude2d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we got to spend some time in the town of Dingle, which has this beautiful marina: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday, Ava and I went to the St. Patrick’s Day Art Fair at the Milk Market before leaving for Cork. It was fun to see it all decked it out in Ireland flags and shamrocks!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In Cork, we went to Blarney Castle first. I think this is the most impressive castle I’ve been to! Both the castle itself and the grounds are very impressive! The castle is very well preserved and well set up for visitors and the grounds are so idyllic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The view from the top of the castle is also very impressive. It is very tall, so you can see the entire castle grounds and beyond! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, of course, we got to see the infamous Blarney Stone! (We didn’t actually kiss the stone because we weren’t sure about this middle aged guy holding us to do it \ud83d\ude1e )<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We got to see more sheep at Blarney! These guys looked like they really wanted to come home with us…<\/p>\n<\/div>

Then, after devouring fudge from the Milk Market while waiting half an hour for a delayed bus, we went back into Cork City. On Cormack, our IFSA guide’s, recommendation, we went to the Marina Market. It was a super cute set up with lights and tables in the middle and food trucks lining the perimeter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also had this mystery book vending machine, which was so cool!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It was an exhausting, but very fun weekend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
